You can now meet urgent needs related to COVID-19 and community recovery efforts in Minneapolis as part of the AmeriCorps Emergency Response Initiative.
“With the ongoing pandemic and recent uprising, people keep asking themselves how they can help,” shares Director Alana Stimes. “Serving with the Minnesota AmeriCorps Emergency Response Initiative is a fantastic opportunity for people who are looking to make a real, lasting difference in their communities right now.”
Emergency Response AmeriCorps members will support a variety of critical needs in the Twin Cities Metro, from working with people experiencing homelessness, to supporting food drives, to helping distribute needed resources across our communities. Term of Service: July 26 – December 5 (35 hours a week)
Stipend: $650 every two weeks
Health Insurance: Individual coverage with no monthly premium
Education Award: $1,612.43 for tuition or student loans
