Which position is right for me?

If you have a desire to work with children directly, the Preschool Literacy Tutor or Elementary Literacy Tutor positions are right for you. The major difference between these positions is the age group of children reached. In addition, Preschool Literacy Tutors work with children in small groups and individually, within the classroom environment, whereas Elementary Literacy Tutors work one-on-one with students outside of the classroom. The Educator Corps Preschool Literacy Tutor position is only for employees at a Reading Corps site who want to incorporate the Reading Corps model into their current jobs. If you are interested in being involved in education but are less drawn to direct service with children, the Volunteer Coordinator position may be a good fit.
